Not much happening today playing games with the kids on there new Christmas presents but I did get out to do a little fruit and vegetables shopping and as you can see we brought some tomartos
Sunday night I’m off to try and get some shots of the fire works on the harbour bidge so keep a look out for those

The wet weather is back again today and even though it was in the forecast some people still get caught out.
This guy must have decided that he was going to get wet anyway so he was in no hurry to get out of the rain.

There is still a lot of wildlife to found around Sydney. This Eastern Water Dragon lives in the middle of Parramatta very close to shops and major roads I would see him a least 4 times a week sunning himself near the river just below a bridge and bus stop
Water Dragons as their name suggests are semi-aquatic lizards. At any sign of danger they will dive into the water and either remain underwater or swim away. Water Dragons have been known to remain underwater for up to 90 minutes because they can slow their heart rate down.

Since I’m still on holidays I went back to the beach and caught this photo of a Surf boat crew out training
Surf Life Saving Clubs use these boats in inter club competitions, they are no longer use in real rescues as they have been replaced with rubber zodiacs with out board motors and jet skis They start with the boat on the beach and row them out through the breakers and out round a buoy then they are surfed back through the waves to the beach they are a real handful to get out in large waves but they come back in real fast if they catch a good wave. luckily today the waves weren’t to bad

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I brought myself a nice wide angle lens for Christmas so first thing today it was off down to the beach to try it out and I wasn’t the only one out nice and early
this elderly lady was out for her morning swim in the ocean baths at Collaroy and I like the yellow glow from the sunrise
