As part of todays Australia Day events there was a mass hot air balloon launch from Parramatta park at 6am to start off the local councils celebrations
there was a very large crowd for such an early hour.

It is still overcast with showers today but the flat light helps when taking photos of glass when you don’t want reflections messing up the clean lines such as these in this building.

The weather changed today we now have some of the rain our gardens have been needing
Rain or no rain people still walk over the harbour bridge day and night

What better to do on a hot Sydney day than go fishing this man is fishing under the harbour bridge, I’m not sure if he was catching any thing but he seemed to be enjoying the day
the sky is a bit hazy due to smoke drifting over the city from bush fires on the northern edges of Sydney that closed all the main roads and rail lines leading north yesterday
