Another one from this weekends Lithgow Ironfest

This time it’s some of the jousting action

last weekend I was north of Sydney in Maitland for the steamfest and today I was west of Sydney in the town of Lithgow for their Ironfest. Which is a festival with blacksmith displays, medieval demonstrations, Jousting tournaments and a battle re-enactment between the French and the English.

Telstra stadium was built as the Main stadium for the 2000 Sydney Olympic games

this shot taken tonight also shows one of the light towers that dominate the area. these tower lights are powered by solar energy collected during the day by the blue panels near the tower’s base

I wish… It is still raining so I dug this one up cheer me up
