the forecast was for a cloudless morning, so I set my alarm for an early start
the Harbour Bridge at first light, the red patern on the bridge is from the testing of the lights that are being installed as part of the new years eve celebrations

even though the inner suburbs of Sydney are fairly cramped for space with lots of small terrace style houses built very close together there are still a lot trees dotted around

we have been having a lot of rain around Sydney for the last few weeks
a back ally in the rain

just a quick photo from around the Newtown area of Sydney

a great way to spend a day… just sailing around the harbour
a yacht sailing in front of circular quay wharfs with the central business district in the back ground
